On January 13.

2) How many days is the ticket valid for?

You can buy a one day ticket or a five-day ticket.

3) Where can I get my tickets

4) Are there ticket + lodging package deals?

5) Once in the park, do I have to pay more for a workshop or a show?

The only extra charges are the therapies of the Purification Niche. Your ticket entitles you to hundreds of free activities every day.

6) What’s the difference between the morning and the evening ticket?

With the morning ticket you must enter the park before 14:00 hrs.

With the evening ticket you can enter the park at any time.

7) Is there an extra charge for the other two venues?

Yes. For Tajín Vive, the night tour in the sacred city of El Tajín.

Not for the activities that take place at the Papantla main square.

8) Where can I get tickets for Tajín Vive?

At the Takilhsukut Park and El Tajín archeological site box offices.

9) When does the ticket sale start for Tajín Vive?

On march 15th.

1) Where can I find information?

2) Are there near-by hotels?

Yes. The nearest cities are Papantla, 9.3 miles away, and Poza Rica, 51 miles away.

3) Where can I check the rates?

Directly with the hotel.

4) Do the hotels have transportation to the venues?

No.

5) Are there special rates for people attending Cumbre Tajín?

No.

6) Are there group rates?

No.

7) Do you have an agreement with a hotel?

No.

Tents


1) When does the sale and distribution begin?

Sale starts on January 13th. The distribution will be done at the camp’s front desk, upon arrival.

2) What are the rates?

In the VIP area $3,100 double occupancy and $3,050 triple occupancy / prices per person.

In the TURIST section $2,700 double occupancy and $ 2,550 triple occupancy/ prices per person.

3) What do they include?

The only difference between the VIP and the Tourist sections is that the VIP includes hot shower water. The Tourist section has cold water. They both include:

• Access to Takilhsukut Park

• Tent

• Individual cot and mat with sheet.

• One flashlight per tent

• Earplugs

• One lock per tent

• Public bathroom with water (hot or cold, according to section)

• Medical Services at the Park’s facilities

• Additional activities, booking required in the Camp Front Desk

4) How many people fit in the tents?

We have double and triple tents for sale.

5) Do I need to leave a security deposit in case something happens to the tent?

No, but you will sign a form and leave an official ID

6) Do the tents have light?

No, we provide one flashlight per tent.

7) Do package deals include medical insurance?

No.

1) What is Cumbre Tajín?

Cumbre Tajín is an annual festival that revolves around the Spring Equinox. It brings arts, ceremonies, music, meditation, dace, healing and multiple artistic and ritual creation expressions together. The Totonaca culture is the host of the festival; it gathers more then 5 000 artists from Veracruz, México y and the world . These artists offer 5000 activities in three venues: Takilhsukut Park, El Tajín Archaeological site and Papantla’s main square.

3) What kind of goods can I bring with me to the Takilhsukut Park?

Only personal items. Buckles, large backpacks, foods, drugs and weapons are not allowed in the Park.

4) Can I bring a professional camera to the Cumbre Tajín concerts?

Only non-professional cameras are allowed.

5) How should I dress?

We suggest comfortable clothing. Make sure to check the weather forecast; it can be really warm or humid days.

6) When will the detailed program (agenda) be available?

In the first days of March.

It is a family festival that has an offer for all audiences.

Workshops


1) What are the topics?

Workshops are developed with a focus on spirituality – this year’s topic-, prehispanic, indigenous and contemporary traditions and trades. There are dance, creativity, recycling and toy workshops, among others.

2) Do they have an extra cost?

No.

3) For what ages?

There are workshops for the whole family, for children, for young people… they are open to all audiences.

4) Who teaches the workshops?

Specialists on each subject. All of them have a broad experience in their areas and in handling groups.

5) Can I take pictures?

Yes.

6) How many workshops will there be?

Around 70 different workshops with multiple sessions during the five days of the festival.

7) Will I need some kind of material for the workshops? If so, does this have an extra charge?

Most of the workshops will use materials and you can take the final product with no extra charges.
